What our clients say about us:
Dear Ernie Linkous;
I want to express my immense gratitude for your efforts on my monther's behalf. It was a very long and difficult journey, but I trusted in your integrity and honesty. You stuck with the process, pursued all avenues and finally, with much tenacity, were sucessful. I admire your concern for vets and thier families. This will make a incredible difference in our ability to keep mother in the Good Samaritan Assisted Living Facility.
I feel that this benefit was one that our family really deserved, because my father served our country as either active durty or reserve for all of his adult life. (over 20 years)
Sincerely,
Gail Trachta Croman,

Jim,
Just a note of gratitude for getting the job done! I tried to do it myself, but the VA Aid & Attendance program is not for do-it-yourselfers and mere mortals!
Collecting the supporting documents is a chore to be sure. However, deciphering the VA application's legalese is most intimidating. I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that if I misunderstood something, anything, my mom's application would be denied. That's when I decided to find help and was most relieved to get your referral.
Besides required documentation, there were the financial items to deal with--not my forte to say the least. Not to worry, Jim to the rescue! The financial items (aka, assets) were appropriately re-positioned to qualify for the VA program, and to stay qualified. The legal firm that participates in the process is very friendly and helpful, not at all stuffy. And, their fee was more than paid for in the first month's benefit check.
Thanks, again, for knowing what to do and getting it done. Your professionalism is matched by your kindness, patience and generosity. Mom says, "Jim is a nice man." It doesn't get better than that!

Dear Mr. Linkous and Mr. Buchanan,
We can't thank you enough for all your caring and all that you have done for my family. Without your help, we would have had to put my father, a veteran of World War II, in a state home. We were so tired of hearing he didn't qualify for help and had just about exhausted all of our resources.
At the same time, I was looking for a home for my mother-in-law who suffers from Alzheimer's. Although she had no benefits coming to her, the person that was helping us gave me a name of a gentleman who she thought could help us. The man turned out to be someone that took our money and ran. After several months and no callbacks from the man, I took out the paper work he had given us and found the name of a company. I decided to call on my own and see if I could reach someone who could help.
We felt like there was no hope. The gentleman I spoke to was Mr. Linkous. After explaining what had happened with the other gentlemen, he convinced me he could help and apologized over and over, for what the other man had done. Mr. Linkous then asked if I would trust him to help. I felt as though I had nowhere else to go and prayed he was the kind and caring person, he seemed to be on the phone.
Mr. Linkous and Mr. Buchanan have been angels from God. Within a few weeks, the ball was rolling and we heard from the government concerning my father. They continued to check on us and after 6 or so months, we received our first check.
My father and mother were able to stay in their apartment and my father receives daily care for the balance of his life. We as a family are blessed that these two men came into our lives.
We will be eternally grateful to both of them. My sisters and I can focus on raising our families knowing our parents are taken care of.
May God bless you both and keep you in the palm of his hands. You are truly doing his work.

Good morning Ernie,
" I want to start off by saying a very big thank you for all your hard work in trying to get me some life insurance. YES! I really mean it.
I know it is how you make your living, but when someone goes up and over what they usually do, a
SPECIAL thank you is in order..."

Dear Mr. Linkous,
My husband and I would like to thank you for reviewing our investments. You had the opportunity to encourage us to re-invest in your products but you did not take this route and assured us that what we had, was working well for us and it would be costly for us to change .
You also referred us to an individual who helped us with a reverse mortgage. We actually had one in the pipeline with another individual and we were approcahing it with trepidation out of desperation. The individual that you referred us to was forthright and honest and truly had our interest in mind and not the pocketbook. We saved thousands by using this individual and the process went smoothly and timely. Frankly, we are now relaxed and secure in the knowledge that it was one of the better decisions we have made in our lifetime. There is a differencde in Reverse Mortgage Specialists and we would have never known the difference if it wasn't for you.
As you know, we are Seniors with a limited income and a small investment package. Our knowledge in the investment field was very limited and we were vunerable to a "sales pitch", hoping that we were doing the right things. We apprieciate your time, your honesty and the education you gave us and we are also impressed with your knowledge in so many areas that affected us. Our only regret is that you spent a great deal of time and shared a great deal of knowledtge with us that went unrewared for yourself. You can be assured that if the opportunity arises, we will trust you with our investments and reffer you to anyone that might need your services.
In addition, we would like to thank you for the assistance you gave our Aunt regarding military benefits available to her as the widow of a WWII Veteran. As you know, she was successful in getting benefits that had previously been denied to her. She now has the security that her medical and daily living needs will be met for the rest of her life. We are very grateful to you for the telephone call that you made to help her. She trusted us and we trusted you.
Again THANK YOU!. It was a coincidence that you came into our lives and two families are better off financially because you did.
Regards, William and Margaret Atwood, San Diego CA.
Dear Mr. Linkous,
I am writing in regard to a VA Aid and Atendance Claim that was filed on behalf of my mother, Vicie Eskut. With your assistance, we hired the law firm of Underhill and Underhill to handle the claim process. It is with great pleasure to inform you that my mother's claim was approved. She has recieved her first check, along with two months back pay! Thank you so very much for your kindness in walking us through this process, taking time to explain each step and your genuine caring.
In appreciation,
Barbara Birk, Vicie Eskut

Jim,
Thanks for keeping in touch and CONGRATULATIONS on all the benefits you have secured for our Veterans. It's amazing and so deserved. So far, so good with Mom. She's living here in Escondido in Cypress Court, and trying to weather all the transitions. At 91 I'm sure it's more difficult than I can imagine.

Hi Jim!
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the superb presentation you made at the meeting on Tuesday. If the future presentations from other group members are half as good as yours, we'll be just fine! I found it to be well organized, professionally thorough, and very informative. You must be providing a tremendous service to your clients with the extensive knowledge you have in your area of expertise!
I look forward to seeing you again at the next meeting. Feel free to contact me at any time with anything I can do to help.
Rob
Dear Mr. Buchanan,
Dale and I can't begin to thank you for the incredible help you gave us. Ignorance is not bliss. We had no idea the benefits my mother-in-law was entitled to but missing out on. But with your help she is now getting the extra funds needed to help take care of her properly. And what a blessing that is! I really appreciated the fact that during the entire process you maintained contact with us and steered us through it. You made yourself available when we had questions and we had quite a few. Working with the elderly, as I do, I have given your name to other families who find themselves in similar situations. And I let them know how your expertise provided much needed relief and hope during such a stressful time. Taking care of an elderly relative is an enormous undertaking. Had it not been for you and the wonderful service you provide we would still be struggling. Thank you, again, for all you've done.

"We simply had to let you know how happy and thankful we are with your help to us. What a difference between you and our former broker! We really appreciate you. Thank you again..."

"We could not have been more pleased withe the helpfulness, explanations and overall service provided...you go the extra mile to be helpful"...
